If you're looking to book a hotel, and you're allergic to intimacy, this is the List for you. The following 10 properties are generally cited as the largest on the planet in terms of guest rooms, though we might have overlooked one or two (as if you could overlook something like this). Just how big are these hotels, anyway? Well, at the Izmailovo Hotel in Moscow, which tops our List at 7,500 rooms, a 30-year-old maid of good health beginning her rounds at 8 a.m. in the morning would finish up shortly before 9 p.m. -- on the eve of her 48th birthday, assuming she was responsible for all of the rooms, was able to catch a half-hour catnap roughly every 35 rooms, and had enough clean towels to avoid going back and forth to housekeeping. Of course we're kidding about that, but these hotels are real, and really big.
