The 242-room Aloft Atlanta
is expected to open early next year in the former Days Inn Atlanta Downtown building. The property, currently undergoing a $25 million remodel, is Aloft's first in Georgia and features 242 guest rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center, a bar and 2,000 square feet of meeting space.
The former Hotel Midtown is now the Hyatt Atlanta Midtown
. The Nobel Investment Group, which purchased the 194-room property for $415 million, plans to invest an additional $20 million in a revamp. On-site meeting space totals nearly 3,500 square feet.
The Westin Peachtree Plaza
is in the midst of a $45 million renovation. The project, which will culminate next year, includes upgrades to guest rooms (and the addition of five for a new total of 1,073), hallways and dining outlets. The hotel has more than 80,000 square feet of meeting space.Meeting Hotels
