Local Update

 The 444-room Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown has completed a $10 million enhancement. Among upgrades to the property is a new farm-to-table eatery, Cooper's Mill Restaurant, which serves locally sourced food and beer. Guest rooms have been refurbished, as well as all 26,000 square feet of meeting space. The hotel also features a 2,500-square-foot fitness center and a pool.
Meeting Hotels: Among meeting properties in White Plains are the 146-room Ritz-Carlton New York, Westchester, and 130-room Cambria Hotel & Suites White Plains.

Tarrytown properties include the 444-room Westchester Marriott, 247-room DoubleTree by Hilton Tarrytown, 212-room Tarrytown Estate and 150-room Tarrytown Sheraton.

Group venue: Sophisticated dining can be had north of New York City at Tarry Lodge on Mill Street in Port Chester. This stylish Italian trattoria by famed chef Mario Batali and restaurateur Joseph Bastianch offers five private dining spaces, including an outdoor terrace that seats up to 40 guests, and the Mill Room, which accommodates up to 72 for seated dinners and 150 for a standing cocktail reception.
