Local Update
 A Topgolf entertainment center will open late this year. Construction began last month on the 53,000-square-foot venue, located off Orange Grove and Interstate 10, featuring 72 climate-controlled hitting bays, each with the ability to host up to six players at one time. The three-level venue will have 1,500 square feet of private event space.

 The eight-story AC Hotel Tucson by Marriott is scheduled to open late this summer on Fifth Avenue and Broadway Street. The 137-room property will have a rooftop pool and bar, a fitness center, dining outlets, a lobby bar, 1,500 square-feet of meeting space and 4,800 square-feet of street-level retail space.

 Rancho de la Osa, a 19-room historic ranch that includes one of the last great vintage Spanish haciendas in America, is now open. The newly restored property dates from the 1700s.

The 428-room Hilton Tucson Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort is in the midst of a multimillion-dollar renovation set to be completed this spring. Features include refreshed guest rooms, creative garden concepts, and a new roster of wildlife and nature programs for guests.

Group Venue: The Pima Air & Space Museum offers more than 20,000 square feet of event space under the wings of historic aircraft from all over the world. Flight Central, in the main hangar, accommodates groups of 20 to 400 people in the same room as a restored F-4 Thunderbird, an F-14 Tomcat and the T-33 John Wayne flew in the 1957 movie Jet Pilot. Flight Grill, a quick-service restaurant, is available for breakfast meetings, luncheons and evening hours for gatherings of up to 200 people. The climate-controlled eatery features floor-to-ceiling windows and a patio. The John R. Stitt Center is a large, climate-controlled room available for group events of up to 100.
