The 155-room Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo plays host to celebrities, the wealthy and high-end groups, but management hasn't forgotten the people in the community.

Working with local leaders, the resort now offers groups the opportunity to help children and families in nearby towns to lead better lives. Options include painting schools, planting gardens or shopping for food, clothing and medicine.

The Four Seasons features 9,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 3,000-square-foot ballroom, an event lawn and two beaches for breeze-filled banquets.
