Ballroom at the Radisson Plaza-Warwick Hotel

Ballroom beauty: Radisson
Plaza-Warwick Hotel

In the City of Brotherly Love, where expansive historic buildings cozy up to elbow-room-only cheesesteak joints, a hotel grande dame has been ever-so-gracefully reborn.

This month the 299-room Radisson Plaza-Warwick Hotel Philadelphia, a 1926 landmark property formerly known as the Warwick, said goodbye to months of scaffolding to reveal a stunning $15 million transformation.

Guest rooms feature Radisson’s new custom-designed Sleep Number beds and flat-screen televisions. A new 2,000-square foot fitness center sports iPod hookups. And the 3,750-square-foot grand ballroom has been meticulously restored, down to its regilded plaster detail.
