Rome
Lush lobby at the Rome Cavalieri
Fresh from a US$45 million restoration, the 370-room Rome Cavalieri is the first Hilton European property to be named to its Waldorf=Astoria Collection. The rooftop terrace of this iconic grande dame affords breathtaking views of the Eternal City and the surrounding seven hills.

La Pergola, one of the property's six dining options and one of only four eateries in Italy to earn three stars from Michelin, houses a 53,000-bottle wine cellar and offers 29 brands of bottled water.

An extensive high-tech overhaul of the hotel's 93,640 square feet of meeting space begins in early 2009 and ultimately will provide all guests
with both wireless and wired Internet capability.
