On 27 miles of sugar-white beaches, where the Gulf of Mexico and St. Andrews Bay meet, the Panhandle's Panama City Beach offers more than 16,500 rooms and 160,000 square feet of meeting space.

The 320-room Sheraton Bay Point Resort opened late last year, following a $30 million renovation and rebranding. The property features 60,000 square feet of event space; two golf courses, including the only Jack Nicklaus--designed layout in Northwest Florida, and a 12,000-square-foot spa.

The city's other meeting properties include the 233-room Boardwalk Beach Resort & Conference Center, the 300-room Laketown Wharf Resort and the 550-room Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort.
