The 2010 Winter Olympics may be over, but their legacy lives on in Whistler, British Columbia, with numerous facilities that groups continue to enjoy.

The most visible is Whistler Medals Plaza in the heart of Whistler Village, home to the Olympic Rings, which is being converted into the Whistler Olympic Plaza. When it opens next summer, the Plaza will feature a performance pavilion and an event space.

The green Passive House, which heats, cools and ventilates itself, was Austria House during the Games; it becomes available for events this winter.

Meeting hotels in the ski town include the 550-room Fairmont Chateau Whistler, with function space for up to 1,000.
