After a two-year delay, the long-awaited Baha Mar Resort on Cable Beach debuted this spring with the opening of 1,800-room Grand Hyatt Baha Mar.

The hotel has seven pools, pier and beach access, 26 food-and-beverage outlets, and a nature center stocked with friendly turtles and stingrays.

Among other offerings at the upscale resort are the stunning Baha Mar Convention, Art and Entertainment Center, with 200,000 square feet of meeting and event space; a 100,000-square-foot casino; a spa, and a Jack Nicklaus Signature Design golf course. Two additional properties, the 300-room SLS Lux Baha Mar and the 200-room Rosewood Baha Mar, will debut at the resort in late 2017 and spring 2018, respectively.
