Once a lakeside retreat for residents of Seattle, this city has become a corporate haven. Its hospitality offerings went up a notch in August with the opening of the W Hotel Bellevue.

The brand's first new-build hotel in North America in seven years, the stylish 200-room property borrows from the city's past with lakehouse-inspired details mixed with modern touches.

The hotel's 2,300-square-foot Extreme Wow Suite, W Hotels' take on the presidential suite, is perfect for hospitality events and features swing chairs hung from the ceiling and lovely views west to Lake Washington.

The open-air Porch, an extension of the property's Living Room lounge, is accented by a fireplace and porch swings. The W has a total of 10,000 square feet of meeting space.
