Grappa's outdoor patioMangia! Mediterranean food is great for the heart — and for the taste buds when eating at Grappa. The menu features fare such as spaghetti alla chittara and seasonal creamy risotto. Finish the meal with a glass of one of the eight grappas available, like G. Bertagnolli Grappa di Amarone, made from grape skins, stems and seeds left over from the wine-making process.

On summer Sundays from June through September, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Main Street hosts an open-air bazaar (really a big, sunny party) called Park Silly Sunday Market. Last year, more than 130,000 people strolled through the stalls, listening to live music and buying from vendors such as jewelers and other artisans, importers, gourmet food suppliers and farmers.

Aboard the summer bobsledSlide Like an Olympian. Host to several events during the 2002 Winter Olympics, Utah Olympic Park offers all kinds of summer fun, including rides on the Comet Bobsled. Also for thrill-seekers: the freestyle and extreme ziplines, and the adventure courses featuring ropes and balance challenges.

Established in 1986, Wasatch Brewery produces ales, lagers, stouts, seasonal brews and more. The accompanying Wasatch Brew Pub began serving signature fare on Main Street in 1986, and still is a favorite for summer sipping alfresco.
