Attendees can give back with a quick and simple activity that involves stuffing goodie bags for hospitalized children. At MPI's WEC, conference planners set up a long table with bags, buckets of crayons, Play-Doh and coloring books, stationed in a preconference area just outside the main ballroom. When attendees filtered out of the keynote address they were encouraged to grab a bag, start at one end of the table and make their way across, filling the bags with goodies and then writing personalized gift cards for the children. The program benefitted the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in San Francisco.
