Sept. 20 is "Punch Day" (who knew?). In honor of the old-fashioned libation, mixologists from Vancouver's Rosewood Hotel Georgia created this delicious brew; share with your F&B contact to create a similar version.

 

Autumn Leaves Punch

3 cups Alberta Premium Rye
3 cups Appleton VX Rum
1 quart Rooibos tea
2 quarts pear juice
1 1/4 cups lemon juice
1 1/4 cups lime juice
2 cups cinnamon and house-made star anise syrup
1 tablespoon Angostura bitters
Fresh pear slices and dried star anise pods, for garnish
Large ice cubes 

 

Mix ingredients in a large punch bowl; ladle out to guests.
