For a new twist on the classic Negroni cocktail, try the Nico from Chicago's Thompson Hotel's fashionable watering hole, Nico Osteria:

1 1/4 oz. gin 
1 1/4 oz.  Cocchi Americano
1/2 oz Amaro Braulio 
3/4 oz. sparkling mineral water

Put all ingredients in a mixing glass; add ice and stir quickly. Garnish with a lemon peel.
