A wintertime riff on a mint julep like this one from the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Philadelphia's Red Owl Tavern elevates a classic holiday flavor.

2 oz bourbon
2 teaspoons sugar
1 cup hot brewed mint tea

Muddle bourbon, sugar and mint leaves in a shaker, strain into a mug, and top with mint tea and mint leaf garnish.
