Family on a beachTime spent with families seems more important than ever, which is why, for summer meetings, it's becoming common to invite attendees' children. Teri Hurley, owner of Endless Love Travel (endlesslovetravel.com) in Austin, Texas, suggests doing the following to make way for the kids:
• Pack the welcome bag with flyers and coupons from local attractions and other businesses.
• Lighten the meeting schedule and build in significant family time.
• Consider a cruise meeting, since kids' activities already are built in.
