HP EnvyUltrabooks -- the ultralight, powerful laptops -- were among the hottest trends at the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show. The leader of the pack, HP's new Envy 14 Spectre, is chock full of cool features like a keyboard that lights up or dims to your touch, and Intel Rapid Start Technology for quick booting up. The 20-millimeter thick laptop weighs under four pounds, has a full 14-inch screen and is coated in scratch-resistant "gorilla glass." Cost: $1,399. (888) 291-7996; hp.com/go/spectre
