Meet-up at a trade show booth, meeting, event, conventionThe passport concept, in which trade-show attendees visit various booths to collect stamps in order to enter a drawing, overwhelms booths with attendees who only want their passport stamped. In order to spark meaningful conversations, Traci Browne, president of Red Cedar Marketing (215-635-3016; tradeshowinstitute.com), asked exhibitors to submit three questions that they wished attendees would ask. She divided those questions up into three scavenger-hunt forms (to discourage cheating); attendees had to answer a question from each participating booth in order to enter an iPad drawing.
