WeatherPort Antonio and the surrounding region is Jamaica's rainy corner. This mountainous, northeastern region receives the moisture-laden trade winds, and rainfall is prodigious, especially in the mountain areas. Seasonal variations are less noticeable than elsewhere on the island, although the summer months are usually the rainiest.
