Aer Lingus has announced plans for a major long-haul expansion to the United States in 2016. The carrier is adding nonstop service to Dublin, Ireland, from three new markets: Los Angeles; Newark, N.J.; and Hartford, Conn. The Los Angeles-to-Dublin service, available five times a week, begins in May, while daily Newark-to-Dublin and Hartford-to-Dublin flights commence September.
