Delta Air Lines added a new fare class last week, as reported by M&C's sister publication, Business Travel News. The Basic Economy class represents the airline's lowest-priced fares and does not allow refunds, changes or advance seat assignments. To start, the fares are available only to passengers flying between Detroit and the Florida cities of Orlando, Ft. Myers, Ft. Lauderdale and Tampa, but the fare class might be expanded in the future.
