Ground has been broken on the new 265,000-square-foot Terminal C North concourse at Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport to serve passengers on United Airlines. The $244 million project will create larger gate areas and 20 dining and retail options. When construction on the new concourse is completed in 2017, the existing Terminal C North facility will be demolished to facilitate the reconstruction of the Mickey Leland International Terminal D.
