JetBlue will launch weekly service between New York’s JFK Airport and Havana, Cuba, beginning July 3. Though JetBlue will operate the flights, passengers must purchase tickets through a charter firm, Cuba Travel Services. JetBlue is the first major U.S. airline to announce a new flight to Cuba since travel restrictions were lifted. In January, United Airlines said it would seek permission to offer service between Newark Liberty International Airport and Cuba.
