In a project set to begin in November, United Airlines' Terminal C at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey will get new shops and 55 new restaurants. Plans also call for 6,000 iPads to be placed throughout the terminal, from which travelers will be able to place food orders or surf the Internet for free. To help travelers stay powered up, 10,000 power outlets will be added in the seating areas. OTG Management will invest $120 million in the redesign and upgrade project, which is expected to take 18 months to complete.
