Delta Air Lines plans to move forward with a rebuild of Terminals C and D at LaGuardia Airport, which it controls as a leaseholder, according to Travel Weekly, M&C's sister publication. The move came after the board of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey voted to contribute $600 million to the project.

The Terminal C and D rebuild is part of a larger $8 billion overhaul of LaGuardia that is getting underway this summer. Once completed, Terminals C and D will be combined into a single facility that links to a new central hall at the airport.

Delta said its new terminal will house 37 gates on four concourses connected by a centralized check-in lobby, security checkpoint and baggage claim.
