On Jan. 16, Qantas resumed flights between two Australian cities -- Melbourne and Sydney -- and Los Angeles, using its A380 fleet. The planes had been grounded for a safety assessment. On May 16, the carrier will begin offering four nonstops flights a week from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport to Sydney, using 747s. A direct flight will stop in Brisbane, Australia.
