United Airlines will end its daily service from its Chicago and Houston hubs to Atlantic City less than year after the flights were launched, according to press reports. The carrier will stop flying to Atlantic City International Airport on Dec. 3, leaving Spirit Airlines as the sole carrier to the facility. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and the South Jersey Transportation Authority currently are working with other airlines to bring new flights to A.C.
