 As part of its new role as an alliance partner with Destination Marketing Association International, meetings technology firm Cvent will provide education and promote destination marketing organizations to meeting professionals. Cvent has integrated content from DMAI's empowerMINT website -- a tool that enables meeting planners to search and compare destination profiles, including hotels, convention facilities and DMO services -- into its complimentary Destination Guide for meeting professionals. "DMAI is always looking for ways to support the meetings community, to advocate for the DMO value proposition and to connect meeting professionals directly to DMO destination experts," said DMAI president and CEO Michael Gehrisch. "We are extremely proud to partner on these efforts with Cvent, which has a proven track record of providing innovative solutions for the meetings industry."
