In an attempt to dispel misperceptions concerning the BP oil spill, Florida Governor Charlie Crist and the State Division of Emergency Management have issued $1.25 million in emergency marketing funds to the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau. The Greater Miami CVB is expecting to use the funds to increase the reach and frequency of its summer campaign that focuses on the varying experiences Greater Miami offers.
