London & Partners, the destination marketing organization for the city, has named Suzanne Singleton head of associations, working to attract large-scale meetings and conventions. She replaces Becky Graveny, who has stepped down from the post she held for 10 years.

Singleton most recently served as MICE account director at the Grove in Hertfordshire, and prior to that was part of the MICE sales team at London's Park Plaza Westminster Bridge hotel.

Tracy Halliwell, MBE, director of major events and business tourism at London & Partners, said, "It is sad to see Becky leave after so many successful years, but I am delighted to welcome Suzanne on board, who I'm sure will play a crucial role in helping many more major associations and congresses come to London."

Of her new role, Singleton said, "The prospect of promoting London as the best destination in the world for associations is the ultimate opportunity, and I am excited to pick up the mantel from Becky, who worked tirelessly over the last 10 years to establish London as one of the top association destinations. It is now my privilege to carry this forward, build on these solid foundations in a changing world and bring even more association events to our capital city."
