Karen Williams, who retired as executive vice president of the Louisville Convention and Visitors Bureau in 2012, has returned as the head of the organization, following the resignation of president and CEO Jim Wood on Tuesday after nearly 11 years at the post. For the next 90 days, Williams will represent the Louisville Bureau at industry trade shows and conferences and provide strategic leadership to the organizations daily operations. No reason was given for Wood's departure.
