New Jersey’s  Casino Reinvestment Development Authority has approved a $5 million grant program to attract more airlines to Atlantic City International Airport, following the launch of service this month by United Airlines, according to press reports. The CRDA will use the funds “as a risk abatement incentive for airlines now considering service” from the airport. The move follows the April 1 launch of United’s daily service between Atlantic City and its two largest hubs, Chicago and Houston.
