Visit Indy, the convention and visitors bureau for Indianapolis, has named Brooke Godsey as the bureau's meetings express manager. She will be responsible for managing all meetings with peak room nights of 10 to 75 rooms in the city, which has posted back-to-back record years in convention-room-night bookings.
Godsey most recently was catering sales manager at the Hilton Garden Inn Indianapolis Downtown, where she was responsible for all event details at the venue, including food-and-beverage needs, audiovisual requirements and room blocks. She is a graduate of Purdue University Indianapolis, where she studied tourism, conventions and event management.
Godsey is the 16th member of the Visit Indy sales team.
