Carnival Corp. has expanded its hybrid connectivity system to create what it calls "the cruise industry's largest Wi-Fi network." The company's expanded [email protected] network currently is deployed on 30 of the line's 100 ships, with plans to expand the service to 10 more ships over the next several months.
In addition, several of the cruise line's brands have introduced new plans and pricing packages. Carnival Corp.'s brands currently using the new connectivity features include AIDA Cruises, Carnival Cruise Line and Holland America Line. The company will expand the service to 10 more ships by the end of 2015 and on all 10 global brands next year.
