Ambassadors International Inc., parent company of Windstar Cruises, filed petitions for reorganization under Chapter 11 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware last week and entered into an agreement with Whippoorwill Associates, a private investment firm, to sell all of its assets. In a statement, Ambassadors said Windstar's three ships will operate all scheduled cruises; all customer programs and policies will be maintained, and all fares, charters and reservations will be honored.
