The European Tour Operators Association has established a Charter for Successful Tourism that defines a code of best practices for group-travel and destination management operators. Issues covered include coach access, capacity planning and pricing. According to the ETOA, the document was drawn up to address a number of issues that have been causing logistical challenges in cities and to encourage greater collaboration between government and industry on marketing and planning.
