Atlantic City’s  11 casino resorts, which closed Friday in anticipation of Hurricane Irene, were slated to reopen at noon Monday. The properties sustained minimal damage from the storm, according to press reports. While official figures on revenues lost due to the closure were unavailable at press time, a  three-day shutdown of the city's gaming resorts in July 2006  cost $50 million to $55 million in lost business.
