A request for a hearing by unsecured creditors of the shuttered Revel Casino Hotel in Atlantic City has been rejected by U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Gloria Burns, according to press reports. The creditors asked for the hearing to allow more potential buyers to make offers that might challenge the bid from real-estate developer Glenn Straub's Polo North Country Club, which is in line to buy the property. Judge Burns said she would consider approving Straub's $82 million bid at a hearing on April 2.
