Less than a week after its parent company, Trump Entertainment Resorts, filed for Chapter 11, the 906-room Trump Plaza Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City closed yesterday, according to press reports. The move comes several days after the company's other property, the 2,010-room Trump Taj Mahal Casino Hotel, issued notices to its 3,101 employees ahead of a possible closure on Nov. 13. Trump Plaza is the fourth Atlantic City gaming resort to close this year.
