Two Atlantic City gaming resorts laid off employees late last week, according to press reports. Tropicana Casino and Resort let go of 35 employees on Friday, while troubled ACH, formerly the Atlantic City Hilton, laid off 150 workers Thursday. The latter measure came a day after the state of New Jersey approved an agreement with Colony Capital LLC, ACH's parent company, to prevent the property's foreclosure.
