Jim Schultenover, who served as president of the Krisam Group for the past nine years, has been named president of Associated Luxury Hotels International, effective Oct. 15. The group, which offers sales services for its more than 160 member hotels, expanded its executive team to accommodate Schultenover; current president and CEO David Gabri will continue to serve as CEO when Schultenover joins the company. Schultenover was responsible for overseeing the sales, marketing, finance and operations of Krisam's three divisions. Succeeding him will be Catherine Chaulet, the new president of Krisam Group and Global Events Partners. Chaulet recently had been appointed the president of GEP Destination Management, an affiliated organization of 65 destination management companies. Previously she was the executive vice president of Best of Boston and BostonCoach.
