Boston-based Associated Luxury Hotels International has added six distinctive hotels to its global convention portfolio. "In response to client's needs, we are excited to offer new hotel and resort options in markets around the world," said Mark Segot, chief sales officer for ALHI, in a statement announcing the  additions. "ALHI's growth plan will continue to be strategic in nature and aligned with our client's requests. We welcome our new member hotels to the ALHI family, and look forward to educating clients on the unique and authentic qualities these hotels offer."

The new properties are:

 • The 391-room Emerald Palace Kempinski, Dubai. Debuting this past Monday, Dec. 3, this palatial resort has its own private beach and movie theater, in addition to an 18-hole putting green, close to 24,000 square feet of meeting space and a 30,000-square foot full-service spa with 23 treatment rooms. Guests can enjoy eight indoor and outdoor culinary experiences, including a royal garden-inspired restaurant; the enchanting Matagi, serving Japanese cuisine and East meets West drinks; and famous local chef Alain Ducasse's Mix, an al fresco restaurant serving a fusion of contemporary and classical French cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients. 

The 174-room One&Only Palmilla, Los Cabos, Mexico. Built in 1956, this luxury hideaway whose earliest guests included Hollywood celebrities like John Wayne, Lucille Ball and former President Dwight D. Eisenhower, recently completed a $90 million renovation. The hotel features several restaurants, including a steak house from Michelin-star-chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten and a seafood restaurant; a full-service spa and wellness retreat; a fitness center; three tennis courts; a 27-hole golf course, and 16,000 square feet of meeting and event space. 
The 252-room MGM Springfield (Mass.). Billed as New England's first integrated resort and casino, this property has eight dining outlets and four luxury hospitality and entertainment venues, incuding the MassMutual Center, a sports and entertainment venue with 100,000 square feet of flexible meeting space and an 8,000-seat arena. Scheduled to open in January 2019 is the Roar! Comedy Club, which will feature an eclectic mix of popular national comedians and rising stars, and the Topgolf Swing Suite, a simulated golf experience and lounge. 
The 215-room Hotel Annapolis (Md.). In the heart of downtown Annapolis, the hotel features 20,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space equipped with state-of-the-art A/V. The property's Meeting Specialists team is available to help guests plan their events. At the in-house Baroak restaurant, diners enjoy Maryland-inspired fare made with locally sourced ingredients, as well as local craft brews and an outdoor fire pit.
The 223-room Hotel Alessandra, Houston. This downtown hotel features a Mediterranean restaurant whose dishes are infused with flavors from Portugal, Greece and Spain; a bar and lounge serving signature hand-crafted cocktails and light bites, and 5,500 square feet of meeting and event space.

 The 216-room Live! By Loews, St. Louis. Scheduled to open in 2020, this $65 million, eight-story hotel is part of the $260 million expansion of Ballpark Village. Within walking distance of Busch Stadium, the new property will feature a hefty 21,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space.
