Tom Santora, formerly chief marketing officer and senior vice president of sales for Omni Hotels & Resorts, is joining Associated Luxury Hotels International in the newly created position of chief commercial officer. Santora is responsible for overseeing strategy and worldwide development of the ALHI brand and alliances. He will be involved with marketing, sales, segment and product development, customer service and communication.
ALHI is an independent global sales organization for its membership of more than 250 luxury properties around the world, in addition to its "alliance" members, which include 23 luxury cruise ships, and destination management companies in more than 100 locations. The organization serves the North American meetings and incentives marketplace.

Santora, who has more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, was an executive with Omni for eight years, until this January . Before that he was executive vice president of sales and marketing for Viceroy Hotels and Resorts, and prior to that spent 17 years with Marriott International.
