An additional 30,000 square feet of meeting space will open up in January 2018 at the 297-room AT&T Hotel and Conference Center in Austin, Texas. The new 15,000-square-foot Zlotnik Family Ballroom will be part of the expansion; the project will bring the property's total to 80,000 square feet of meeting space.

Nine other meeting rooms will be added, all connecting to the existing facilities by an enclosed walkway. The expansion is part of Rowling Hall, which will also house the University of Texas at Austin's McCombs School of Business graduate programs. The new meeting spaces, filled with natural light, will be designed by New York-based firm Ennead Architects.

The AT&T Hotel and Conference Center features three on-site dining options, including the Carillon, which serves traditional fare made with local and sustainable ingredients. Amenities also include a 24-hour fitness center and an outdoor pool. Guests can purchase $12 daily passes to use UT's recreational facilities and pools.
