The 410-room Adolphus Hotel in Dallas has completed a million-dollar upgrade to its meeting space. Extensive work was done to the Grand and Century ballrooms, prefunction space, restrooms, business center and more, while preserving the history of the luxury Rockbridge Portfolio property, which was opened in 1912 by Adolphus Busch of St. Louis beer fame.

The hotel's more than 24,000 square feet of meeting space now features new carpeting and wall coverings, leather chairs, updated window treatments, new lighting, modern artwork and updated technology.

"For over a century, the Adolphus has hosted countless meetings, receptions and events honoring all of life's milestones," said Jim Merkel, president and CEO of Rockbridge. "We are excited to elevate the luxury experience for our group guests with the head-to-toe makeover of our meeting and event space."

Other amenities at the Adolphus include the elegant French Room restaurant; the Bistro, which serves breakfast; the Lobby Living Room, which offers traditional English afternoon tea Friday through Sunday; and the Rodeo Bar & Grill, serving Southwestern dishes.
