The 294-room Sheraton Bijao Beach Panama officially opened this week in the Santa Clara area of Panama, on the Pacific coast. The property, a conversion of the former Breezes Resort and Spa, underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation to meet brand standards. The first all-inclusive resort to fly the Sheraton flag, the property offers 3,600 square feet of meeting space, three swimming pools, a Core Fitness health center, a spa, three restaurants and four lounges. A nine-hole golf course offering preferential access to Sheraton guests is adjacent to the resort.
