A new Andaz resort will begin welcoming guests on Nov. 1 in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Spa is on 23 acres at the base of Camelback Mountain, less than two miles north of Old Town Scottsdale, and will offer 201 bungalow-style guest rooms that are organized into clusters of four to six units.
Highlights will include the Guest House, a social gathering place for guests and locals with floor-to-ceiling glass walls, a signature restaurant with a glass-box exhibition kitchen, and a large outdoor patio; the Turquoise Pool, with more than 150 chaise lounges and beds, 13 private cabanas and a pool bar; and the 12,000-square-foot Palo Verde Spa & Apothecary, which will have four indoor and three outdoor treatment rooms, outdoor hydrotherapy pools, a salon, a eucalyptus steam rooms, and a private pool.
For groups, the resort will feature 10,000 square feet of indoor meeting space and more than 36,000 square feet of outdoor event space. The Retreat, a secluded cluster of 23 guest rooms surrounding a pool, also will offer event and outdoor dining areas.
