According to the Press of Atlantic City, the Atlantic City Hilton Casino Resort has lost the right to use the Hilton name. As a result, the property is now calling itself "ACH" in its promotional literature and on its website. A spokesperson for Hilton Hotels & Resorts told the newspaper Thursday that the chain has ended a licensing agreement that allowed the property to use the name. "It's not recognized as a Hilton," the spokesperson said. "If the agreement is terminated, the property can no longer be part of the Hilton brand." The 804-room resort was the biggest money loser among Atlantic City's 11 casinos; in 2010, it reported an $18.9 million operating loss.
