Boutique luxury hotel owner and operator Auberge will open its second Los Cabos property in 2016. The 92-unit VieVage Los Cabos will be the second property to fly the new VieVage flag, the first being the VieVage Napa Valley in California, scheduled to open in 2017. VieVage Los Cabos will offer both suites and villas when the first phase of its construction is complete, as well as an on-site restaurant, a 138-meter pool, an oceanfront hot tub and fire pits. Additional amenities will include a Tom Fazio-designed golf course, a spa, a fitness center, a kids club and a water-sports center. The new resort will be built in the 1,200-acre Chileno Bay master development. The VieVage flag, announced last summer, aims to incorporate a sense of community and wellness into its properties. Auberge's first Los Cabos resort, the 50-room Esperanza, currently is closed because of damages sustained from Hurricane Odile; it is slated to reopen in March.
